To remove any dirt or waste from the surface of QUARTZ (i.e. oil and grease, wine, vinegar, lemon, fizzy drinks, coffee…), just wipe with a damp cloth dipped in a neutral pH detergent.
Rinse with water and dry.
As examples, here are some solutions to common problems:
Grease stains: dilute a small amount of detergent in water and rub the stain with a cloth. Then rinse with water.
Loss of shine: use a gloss enhancer suitable for use on natural granite work surfaces.
Limescale stains: pour vinegar (or any weak diluted acid) onto the surface of the countertop and leave it to work for 1 minute. Rinse with water.
Silicone stains: remove using a sharp blade and a little solvent (acetone or ethanol).
Do not place Camrola quartz ® in locations subject to strong direct sunlight or expose it to UV lighting.
Avoid placing very hot objects on Camrola Quartz ® surfaces (pans from the fire or oven, deep fryers, etc.)
Do not use water-repellents or sealers to bring out shine.
Do not use stripping agents, caustic soda, degreasing products, or products with a pH over 10 or chloride-based products. When using bleach or solvents, rinse with water as soon as possible to avoid prolonged contact with the surface.
